Cookie's T-ball

This will be an interesting season. Cookie has so much energy and doesn't quite know how to steer it. She is funny and entertaining but can not follow instructions very well so you never know what she is going to do next.

This is her first year to play T-ball. You think she is excited?

Play ball or play in the dirt?

When their team took their turn for batting, the coach drew a circle for a batters box to wait in.

Then here she is up to bat after drawing ANOTHER cirlce to bat from. Do you think she is paying attention to the game OR her coach?

Yes, that is a little tongue sticking out. At one time the coach had to grab the top of her head and turn it to watch the ball.

Wohoo! She made it to first base. But who doesn't if you hit the ball in some way or another.

She even made it home.
Wondering if she is suppose to step on that or not.

Next....their team takes the field. Here she gets to play 3rd base. This is where Doran played when he was a puppy.
What is she doing? Well drawing a circle in the dirt indicating where her position is. AND "protecting" the base. The coaches had to keep reminding her to not stand ON the base when there was a runner.
So she would then make her another circle to stand in, or crouch in, or day dream in.

So yes, this will be a very interesting season.

Never a dull moment.
